UNDATED (AP) _ The Ohio State Buckeyes remain the top team in
the weekly Associated Press top-25 men's college basketball poll.
The Bucks received 70 of the 72 first-place votes to top Kansas,
Wisconsin, U-C-L-A and Memphis. The Kansas Jayhawks received the
remaining two first-place nods from the sportscasters and writers.
Rounding out the top ten are Florida, Texas A-and-M, North
Carolina, Georgetown and Nevada.
Winthrop is one of the new teams this week and the Eagles are
about to enter their seventh N-C-A-A tournament since the 1999
season. They wrapped up the Big South tournament over the weekend
and have won 18 straight games. Their only losses this year have
come at the hands of Wisconsin, Texas A-and-M, North Carolina and
