Less than 1,000 Tickets Remain for Saturday as Record-Crowd Anticipated
MANHATTAN, Kan. - Less than 1,000 tickets remain for Saturday's season opener against UMass as Kansas State anticipates the largest home-opening crowd in school history for the K-State Family Reunion.
A limited number of general admission tickets remain available in Section 28, while members of the military can also receive a $20 GA ticket in Section 28 to the Family Reunion contest with proper identification. Fans that purchase tickets this week are also encouraged to utilize the "print at home" option as game-day draws nearer. Select $35 reserved tickets also remain available for Saturday.
In an effort to accommodate as many fans as possible, the ticket office at Bramlage Coliseum will hold extended office hours on Friday until 7 p.m., and will call windows on Saturday will open at 3 p.m. at the stadium's west ticket booth
"We are inching closer to our goal of having 50,000 fans for Saturday's Family Reunion," Athletics Director John Currie said. "Selling out the stadium on Saturday will show the entire nation how passionate and supportive our fans are of Coach Snyder, their football program and their University. We are all looking forward to an exciting weekend."
The last time Bill Snyder Family Stadium was at full capacity was for the 2007 Kansas game (50,924), while the largest crowd to ever witness a home opener was against Temple (50,624) back in 1999.

The weekend is full of activities as the largest former player reunion in K-State history and a spectacular postgame fireworks show are among the highlights surrounding Saturday's football game.
Over 330 former K-State football players plus their families will be in attendance for the UMass game as the fraternity celebrates the return of Coach Snyder to the sidelines. All former players back for the reunion will be honored during pregame activities and will wear K-State jerseys provided by GTM Sportswear.
The fireworks show, presented by the K-State Student Union Program Council, K-State Athletics, Commerce Bank, Briggs Auto, Varney's Bookstore and Kite's Bar and Grill, will be choreographed to music
Kickoff for Coach Snyder's first game in three seasons is set for 6:10 p.m. at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
