TOPEKA, Kansas (WIBW) - The Topeka Golden Gloves boxing club is hosting one of its two annual events on Saturday.
The event begins at 5 p.m. at the Oakland Community center, and will feature at least 25 bouts with teams from across the state and midwest attending.
Golden Gloves trainer Raul Barron said this is what the kids have been working toward for some time.
This is the lone fundraising event for the club to afford equipment and travel to other tournaments.
