Padres C Blanco Leaves Game With Strained Hammy
San Diego Padres catcher Henry Blanco(notes) left Saturday’s game against the Los Angeles Dodgers with a strained right hamstring.

Blanco pulled up rounding first base after hitting a broken-bat single with two outs in the second inning. He was replaced by pinch-runner Eliezer Alfonzo(notes), who stayed in as catcher.
