December 3, 2008-The Emporia State men used an 11-0 run to start the second half on their way to a 79-56 win over #21 Northwest Missouri on Wednesday night in White Auditorium.
There were four ties and three lead changes in the first half and NWMSU led 19-13 with 9:30 left in the half. Shang Ping scored four points to start a 7-0 lead and gave ESU the lead at 20-19 with 6:24 left.
Robert Moores scored 22 points with six assists off the bench for ESU to lead four players in double figures. He scored 17 in the second half as the Hornets outscored the Bearcats 44-28 after intermission.
Hunter Henry had 25 points and 10 rebounds for NWMSU to lead all players.
ESU is back in action on Saturday when they play host to Missouri Western on Saturday in White Auditorium. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
