15th-best sports city in the nation.

LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) _ The Sporting News ranks Lawrence the
15th-best sports city in the nation. Lawrence trails only much
larger markets with professional sports franchises, thanks to the
Kansas Jayhawks' 12-1 finish and Orange Bowl win, and their NCAA
Men's Basketball crown. The rankings are based on win-loss records,
post-season appearances, attendance and other factors.
