OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Kansas rowing had a strong showing in the Collegiate Eight night sprint qualifier with three of the four entries qualifying for the night sprint. In the sprint, Kansas placed second behind Tulsa.

The Jayhawks also finished in the top five in the Collegiate Double. Kansas placed fourth, 1:21.37 behind the first place US Rowing boat.

"It's really good competition," said head coach Rob Catloth. "We performed better than last weekend and the training is coming around. We're still figuring out who can move the boats."

The Jayhawks will be back in action again on Sunday, November 2, in Wichita, Kan., at the Frostbite Regatta.
