Dan "The Man" Barber first got involved in 13's live newscast blogging by accident. He found it while checking the web site for new news stories.

When he realized how fun it is talking with the anchors during the newscast, he was thrilled when WIBW added live game blogging for Kansas City Chiefs fans.

Anytime the Chiefs are on, visit the WIBW homepage and you'll see the blog -- join in and have fun!

I really did enjoy reading the blog Sunday and it did give me something to do to take my mind off just how bad things were on the TV set.Love watching the Chiefs, they are my team, I don't like watching them lose. That is hard to take. Reading the blog got me to laughing and soon I was not feeling quite so bad. Well I still felt bad anyway. Go Chiefs!!

Carl Peterson needs to go bye bye before Herm. They seem to think they are "building a team of youth". Come on, this is the NFL not a minor league football team. If they aren't ready for the big time, don't draft them.

Texting and blogging, what a waste of time and brain power. People have nothing better to do than text and blog. What a sorry state this country is in. Also, the chiefs are worst team in the league. We need a talented QB. Peterson should be told to take a hike also. He's the one who approves all of the trades and drafts. He's got a pud job, why should he care about the wins or loses.

You can live blog with the anchors during the newscast? How come I didn't know about this until now? I could have help the newspeople learn that in Topeka, nobody pronounces it "Toe-peek-a". It's "Tapeka". We can tell you aren't from here is all I'm saying.

I did not like the running script at the bottom of the game telling us about the Live Blogging. It got very annoying and was quite a distraction. THere has to be a better way or at not least run it so often.

First of all i must say how disappointed that i am about the out come of today's football game against the Oakland Raiders. Please tell me what was Coach Herman Edwards thinking about by shuffling in those 3 different quarterbacks.I am a die hard Kansas City Chief Fan and when i see moves like that i wonder sometimes about the coaching staff. I and i figure all the other Chief Fans around the country we want a winning season and a chance to go the Superbowl and maybe even win the Big Game. i can understand about using rookies for the most part, but when it comes to the quarterback position i figure that we should have somebody with a little experience playing in the NFL. What about giving Donte Culpepper a chance to see what he can do. He is a big strong and versatile player. Also on the opening play i would spread out the defense by airing the football showing them that you might throw it or you might not. Please just win and the next time we play those sorry raiders we need to win.

Blog is a good idea but with a coach Edwards running the team like a poor high school coach I do not think it will have much good on it. This is the pros the team needs to be run to win each week, not see who you can develope and hope for something in the future which won't happen with Edwards as coach. Good entertainment is what the game is about and it isn't happening and the Chiefs are going to loose their following and that means loosing money. Get rid of Edwards now don't wait. I said he should have never been given the job. Winning games in reg season is great even if not winning in the play offs.
