The Washburn Ichabod football team jumped four spots in each of the national NCAA Division II national polls which were released today. In the American Football Coaches Association national coaches poll, the Ichabods jumped from No. 22 to No. 18 and in the d2football.com national media poll, the Ichabods jumped from No. 17 to No. 13 after their win over the FCS Missouri State Bears 35-27 on Sept. 4. The Ichabods will open MIAA play this Saturday at Fort Hays State with a 7 p.m. kickoff.
