Time: 5K Run: Registration: 7 - 7:45 a.m. Start: 8 a.m.
1 Mile Fitness Walk: Registration: 8 - 8:45 a.m. Start: 9 a.m.
Deadline: Pre-registered entries must be received by Friday, July 11
Fee: $22 per person. Save $2 by entering online. $5 late fee if received after July 11
Day-of Entry: $27 per athlete at competition site. T-shirts not guaranteed for late registration!

Format: The 5K follows the most challenging and aesthetic cross country course in Kansas. It includes rolling prairie, native woods, rugged ascents, and two creek crossings. The one-mile walk is a race, and a self-test of fitness, following the prairie trail and ending up at a replica of the first cabin in Topeka. Participants' can go to the www.healthykansas.org and click on “What’s Your Mile?” for background. A private fitness assessment in the cabin will follow the finish. Headsets are not allowed.

Packet Pick-up: To avoid day-of traffic, athlete bags,
T-shirts and race materials will be available for pick-up at Great Plains Running Company on Thursday and Friday, July 24-25 at 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Pre-registered participants may picked up packets at the Iliff Commons during registration.
