Chiefs Agree to Terms with CB Brandon Carr

CHIEFS AGREE TO TERMS WITH CB BRANDON CARR
Kansas City Chiefs President Carl Peterson announced on Thursday that the club has agreed to terms of a three-year contract with CB Brandon Carr. As per Chiefs policy, no other terms of the agreement were made available.
Carr (6-0 207) joined the Chiefs as the club’s fifth-round selection (140th overall) in the 2008 NFL Draft. He saw action in 49 contests (41 starts) at Grand Valley State, posting 206 tackles (147 solo), 11 interceptions and 39 passes defended. During his time at Grand Valley, he helped compile a record of 50-4 and a pair of NCAA Division ll national championships.
Carr opened all 13 contests for the Lakers in 2007, recording 45 tackles (33 solo), two Interceptions and deflected 13 passes. He garnered first-team All-America honors from The NFL Draft Report, as well as being named the Defensive Back of the Year by the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
The Flint, Michigan native was an All-Conference athlete at Carman-Ainsworth High School.
