Wichita, Kan. - Shocker fans have seen the pictures and read the stories but soon they can watch the National Championship Finals in action on CBS College Sports.

The recorded for TV finals of the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships will be aired in June starting with the women’s championship match. The defending national champions Wichita State will face off with second seeded Pikeville College on Wednesday, June 4, at 7 p.m. CST.

Two days later, the telecast featuring the Wichita State men against the University of Nevada-Las Vegas will air Friday, June 6, at 7 p.m. CST. For the first time, fans not in attendance at North Rock Lanes for the live finals will be able to see the Shocker men claim their eighth national title and the sixteenth of the WSU Bowling Program.

Both telecasts will be played on CBS College Sports which can be found on Cox Cable on channel 260. Satellite subscribers can view the championships on channel 610 for DIRECTV and channel 152 on Dish Network satellite television.

The telecast will be broadcasted by analyst Lynda Barnes, 2008 USBC Queens champion and wife of former Shocker and PBA Player of the Year Chris Barnes. Joining Barnes will be play-by-play voice Mike Jakubowski, a former collegiate All-American.

In addition to the telecast of the match, the broadcast will include features on premier collegiate bowlers and interviews with All-Americans. During the matches, select players wore microphones to provide an intimate and more in-depth look at the championship match.

Wearing the microphone for the Lady Shockers was senior Ashley Cox and for the men, senior George Lambert IV.

CBS College Sports TV does not come with basic cable packages, check with your cable provider for more information on acquiring the channel. Also, ask at local sports bars and restaurants as they may carry the channel in their sports package.
