Hornets have game delayed Save Email Print

May 10, 2008 -- The #4 ESU baseball team has been delayed in Kansas City with their game suspended in the bottom of the eighth inning with one out and a 1-0 on Blaine Rutledge of Central Missouri. The game will be picked up tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. at CommunityAmerica Ballpark Kansas City, Kan. The Hornets are leading the game 11-4 on the power of two home runs by Eric Shortell and a home run by Kevin Wempe.

The new schedule will start with the 10 a.m. game followed by the consolation bracket final 30 minutes after the conclusion of the ESU-UCM two innings. That will be followed by a winner take all final 30 minutes after the consolation bracket game is over.
