TOPEKA, KAN., May 9, 2008 – Shawnee County Parks & Recreation and the Topeka Shawnee County Sports Council announce the National Club Baseball Association's Mid-America Regional baseball tournament will be held in Topeka on May 10-11 at the Lake Shawnee Baseball Complex. This event is free and open to the public. It is the first tournament to be hosted at the newly renovated Lake Shawnee Baseball Complex.

The teams competing are club baseball teams and represent the following universities: University of Kansas, University of Colorado-Boulder, Colorado State University and the University of Northern Iowa.
