Sports Car Club of America
Employees are burning rubber to unpack their offices at a new headquarters.
The Sports Car Club of America moved into its new building at Forbes Field over the weekend and opened for business Monday morning.
SCCA is the largest membership motor sports organization in the world with nearly 70,000 members.
SCCA President and CEO Steve Johnson said, "We have a lot of history with the state of Kansas and the city of Topeka. We put on the largest motorsports event here in North America, arguably the world, with our Solo Nationals at Forbes Field. We brought in 1500 race teams this year that were here for over a week."
Johnson says they also plan to open an SCCA University, which will be located right next to their headquarters.
