LAWRENCE, Kan. - Kansas Women's Basketball is off to an 11-2 start after a competitive non-conference season. The Jayhawks will open Big 12 Conference play versus #24/25 Oklahoma State on Wednesday, Jan. 9 at 7 p.m. in historic Allen Fieldhouse.
Kansas Athletics will host the Lawrence Public Elementary School Challenge during the Big 12 Conference season. All elementary school students will receive free admission to games played in Allen Fieldhouse with the exception of the March 5 game with Kansas State.
Students should pick up a ticket voucher at their school office prior to each game. Additional tickets may be purchased by family and friends at the Allen Fieldhouse ticket window or in advance at kuatheltics.com or 800-34-HAWKS.
Kansas Athletics will track the attendance numbers for each school. The school with the highest percentage of total enrollment in attendance at the end of the season will receive a grand prize to be determined by Kansas Athletics and the school principal. The winning school will be recognized during the Kansas Women's Basketball game with Kansas State on March 5.
