Hawks Fly Past Eagles

BOSTON (AP) _ Darnell Jackson scored 25 points in front of a
surprisingly supportive road crowd lead third-ranked Kansas to an
85-60 victory over Boston College.

Darrell Arthur added 22 points for Kansas, which improved to 14-and-0.

Boston College (10-3) failed in its first game against a ranked
opponent this season.

Rakim Sanders scored 21 and Tyrese Rice had 20 for the Eagles,
who had the game tied at 22-all before giving up 33 of the next 41
points.

BC went on a 10-2 run early in the second half to cut a 25-point
deficit to 17, but couldn't get any closer than 14 points.

The sold-out crowd of 8,600 included a large contingent of
Jayhawks fans. They were able to increasingly drown out the home
cheers as the game wore on and the BC supporters headed for the
exits.
