Starting/Playing Streaks & Notes: TE Tony Gonzalez made his 158th start, tying QB Len Dawson for the fourth-highest total in franchise history. LB Donnie Edwards started his 153rd consecutive contest, the fifth-longest active streak in the NFL. C Casey Wiegmann made his 111th consecutive start.

Gonzalez Sets NFL Reception Record for Tight Ends: TE Tony Gonzalez recorded his 816th career reception on a 17-yard reception from QB Brodie Croyle in the third quarter. With that reception, Gonzalez bypassed TE Shannon Sharpe (815) for the most receptions by a tight end in NFL history. Gonzalez now owns 820 career receptions.

More on Gonzalez: TE Tony Gonzalez extended his franchise-record streak of consecutive games with a reception to 115 contests, the second-longest streak compiled by a TE in NFL history and the sixth-longest active streak by a player in the league. Gonzalez finished the season with 99 receptions, the second-highest seasonal total in NFL history by a tight end.

Allen Registers the Second-Highest Seasonal Sack Total in KC History: DE Jared Allen recorded his sixth multi-sack game of the season and the 12th of his career. He finished the season with 15.5 sacks, the second-highest single-season total in franchise history behind LB Derrick Thomas who led the league with 20.0 sacks in ’90. Allen now owns 43.0 career sacks. DE Tamba Hali recorded a sack, giving him 7.5 for the season and 15.5 for his career.

The Bowe Show: WR Dwayne Bowe finished the season establishing Chiefs rookie records for both receptions (70) and receiving yardage (995).
