Houston Knocks Off Playoff Bound Jacksonville

HOUSTON (AP) _ The Houston Texans have posted their first
non-losing season in team history, finishing 8-and-8 with a 42-28
win over the playoff-bound Jacksonville Jaguars.
Andre Davis became the seventh player in NFL history to return a
pair of kickoffs for touchdowns in the same game. Davis brought the
first back 97 yards before his 104-yard return put the Texans ahead
28-14 on the opening kickoff of the second half.
Ron Dayne also scored twice on touchdown runs while combining
with Darius Walker for 174 yards on the ground. Walker finished
with 86 yards and a touchdown.
The Jaguars rested six starters with their AFC playoff berth
already decided. Running backs Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew
were among the inactives, and quarterback David Garrard didn't
play.
