ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) _ Oakland's Warren Sapp has made an
unplanned holiday contribution. The Raiders defensive tackle has
been fined $75,000 by the NFL for a confrontation with a game
official in the first half of Sunday's loss to Jacksonville.
Sapp's behavior drew three consecutive unsportsmanlike conduct
penalties after he became upset with the way officials handled a
penalty call against the Jaguars.
Oakland defensive end Derrick Burgess was fined $25,000 for
verbally abusing an official during the same sequence.
