LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) _ A Nebraska quarterback faces five
misdemeanor charges after his arrest following a disturbance at a
university residence hall over the weekend.
Patrick Witt was taken into custody early Sunday on suspicion of
disturbing the peace. He also was ticketed for trespassing,
third-degree assault by menacing threats, minor in possession by
consuming and possession of a false ID.
Police say Witt had a blood-alcohol content of point-115.
Coach Bo Pelini says he's spoken with Witt and that the matter
will be handled internally.
