2 Texas A&M Football Players Suspended After Arrests

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) _ Texas A&M has suspended
indefinitely two football players arrested on felony robbery and
drug counts.

College Station police have charged junior offensive lineman
Yemi Babalola is charged with two aggravated robbery counts and one
of misdemeanor marijuana possession. They've charged freshman
defensive end Brandon Joiner with three drug possession counts, one
of them a felony.

Babalola's free on $52,000 bond, while Joiner remains in the
Brazos County Jail in Bryan with bond set at $16,000.

A police department statement says one resident suffered minor
injuries in the November 29th home invasion at the Callaway Villas
Apartments in College Station. The investigation led to searches
yesterday of both suspects' homes, where police say they found
drugs and other evidence.
