Western Washington Drops Lady Blues in National Semi-Final

Washburn won the first game, but lost the next three in losing to Western Washington 3 to 1 in the semi-final of the NCAA Division Two National Volleyball Championships. Washburn won the first game 30-23 but Western Washington won the next three 30-23, 30-26, 30-20.
Western has now won 21 straight matches. Western Advances to face Concordia - St. Paul for the title Saturday at 7:00.
Concordia picked up a 3-1 win over West Texas A & M. The
Lady Blues season ends at 38-4, the most successful season
in Washburn volleyball history.
