WHAT: Huard and his family will start getting in the holiday spirit as they volunteer at the Johnson County Christmas Bureau Holiday Shop. Thanks to the Huard’s help, this vital holiday resource will continue serving underprivileged Johnson County citizens.

WHY: The Johnson County Christmas Bureau is a non-profit volunteer agency created to serve the needs of low-income families in Johnson County with groceries, clothes, toys, gifts, and personal care items for the holidays.
While Johnson County has the reputation of being an affluent area, poverty does exist in this area. The Johnson County Christmas Bureau Holiday Shop has served over 10,000 individuals in recent years, mostly women and children who need our help.
