Chiefs Lineman Kyle Turley to Donate to Retired Players.

CHICAGO (AP) _ A news conference was held today at Mike Ditka's
restaurant in Chicago to announce that some NFL players plan to
donate part of their earnings from the league's December 23rd games
to help needy retired players.

Kansas City Chiefs lineman Kyle Turley says he'll donate his
entire $25,000 paycheck.

Ditka, a former Bears standout and Super Bowl-winning head
coach, has been vocal in publicizing the plight of former players
who struggle with the effects of lingering physical problems from
their years of playing in the league.
