Silver Lake Falls to Garden Plain 48-7

HUTCHINSON, Kan. (AP) _ Logan Dold rushed for five touchdowns
and threw for a sixth as Garden Plain crushed Silver lake 48-to-7
today for the Class 3A State Championship at Gowans Stadium.
Dold had 286 yards on 31 carries. He also was 5-of-6 passing for
another 111 yards.
As a team, Garden Plain (14-0) rushed for 410 yards, had 521
yards of total offense and 26 first downs. The Owls held Silver
Lake (13-1) to 117 yards and seven first downs.
The Garden Plain victory ended Silver Lake's 27-game winning
streak.
