Fahey receives CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine First Team Academic All-American honors

Lady Blues junior defender Lisa Fahey became the first Washburn Lady Blues Soccer player to receive first team CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American honors as the team was announced today. Fahey has a 4.0 GPA in biology.
Fahey received first team Daktronics all-region and first team all-MIAA honors this season after being named honorable mention all-conference as a freshman and as a sophomore. Fahey scored six goals this season, which was third on the team as she finished fourth in points with 12. Fahey was also named to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine First Team Academic all-District team. Fahey received third team CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American honors as a sophomore.
