Ochoa hangs on to win at ADT Championship

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) _ Lorena Ochoa (oh-CHOH'-uh) overcame
a double-bogey on the 17th hole to win the season-ending ADT
Championship.
She closed with a 4-under-68 for a two-shot win over Natalie
Gulbis.
The 26-year-old Ochoa was four shots clear with two holes to
play until a three-putt double bogey on the par-3 17th. Gulbis made
birdie to cut the lead to one shot and followed with a hybrid into
15 feet on the 18th.
But on 18, Ochoa made a daring shot out of the rough and over
the water to within 3 feet of the cup. Gulbis missed her putt and
Ochoa calmly rolled in her birdie for the victory.
Ochoa pockets a one million-dollar prize, the richest in women's
golf.
The Mexican star gets her eighth victory of the year, joining
Annika Sorenstam and Nancy Lopez as the only players to have
accomplished that in the last 20 years.
