The Washburn Ichabods had two of the three Wilson/MIAA Players of the Week which were announced by the conference office today. Senior wide receiver Jake Lebahn was picked as the offensive player of the week and Zach Watkins was tabbed as the defensive player of the week.
Lebahn has career highs in receptions (6), yards (153) and touchdowns (2) as the Ichabods topped No. 18 Pittsburg State for the second time in a row in Topeka 35-28. His 153 yards was also a career-high in all-purpose yards in a single game … his first touchdown reception with 5:13 left in the third quarter tied the score at 21 … his second touchdown reception turned out to be the game-winner putting WU up 35-28 on a 6-yard TD catch … on the drive, he also had a 68-yard reception from the Ichabod 11 down to the PSU 21 … three of his catches were for first downs.
