Starting/Playing Streaks & Notes: LB Donnie Edwards started his 145th consecutive contest, the fifth-longest active streak in the NFL.
Another Arrowhead Sellout: The Chiefs registered their 137th consecutive sellout at Arrowhead.
Takeaway Stats: CB Patrick Surtain registered his second INT of the season, his seventh as a member of the Chiefs and the 36th of his career. CB Benny Sapp recorded his first INT of the season and the second of his career.
Goin’ Gonzo: TE Tony Gonzalez finished the contest with 10 catches for 109 yards with one TD. It was his seventh career game with 10 or more receptions and 21st career 100-yard receiving game. Gonzalez registered his fourth TD catch of the season on a 17-yard reception. He has 65 career TD receptions, the most by any TE in NFL history. Gonzalez extended his franchise-record streak of consecutive games with a reception to 107 contests, the second-longest streak compiled by a TE in NFL history.
Johnson’s Day: RB Larry Johnson registered his third rushing TD of the season and the 50th of his career on a one-yard run. Johnson has now scored a rushing TD in three consecutive games. Johnson has scored the Chiefs last 36 rushing TDs, the longest streak by any player for a single team in NFL history. Johnson had a 30-yard receiving TD, his first scoring reception of the season and the sixth TD catch of his career. It was his longest reception since having a 78-yard reception at Arizona (10/8/06). The contest marked the 19th time in Johnson’s career that he has scored two or more total TDs in a game.

Another First-Quarter Shutout: The Chiefs defense pitched a first-quarter shutout for the fourth time this season, marking the 10th time in 24 games under Herm Edwards that the club has accomplished that feat.
Sack Stats: DE Jared Allen and DE Tamba Hali split a sack in the first quarter. Hali also recorded a forced fumble on the play. Allen now has 8.5 sacks on the season and 36.0 career. Hali has 3.0 sacks on the season and 11.0 for his career.
Holmes’ Two-Point Conversion: RB Priest Holmes scored on a two-point conversion, his first points since scoring two TDs at Miami (10/21/05).
Colquitt Inside the 20: P Dustin Colquitt landed three punts inside the 20-yard line vs. Green Bay. Colquitt now has 63 career punts inside the 20, moving him into second in Chiefs history.
