MANHATTAN, Kan. – The Kansas State Athletics Department and the women’s basketball team has set a 5 p.m. tip time for the season-opener against Washington in Bramlage Coliseum on Nov. 10.
The Wildcats are 31-8 in home openers since the program’s debut in the 1968-69 season and 9-2 in the Deb Patterson era in home openers, including three straight victories. The Huskies were a 2007 NCAA Tournament participant and finished the season with an 18-13 record.
The athletic department is offering a Family 4 Pack promotion for the season-opener with the Huskies. The Family 4 Pack includes four tickets, four drinks and four hot dogs for just $30. The packages must be ordered by 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 9.
Head coach Deb Patterson and the Wildcats will host Washburn in its only exhibition game of the fall on Thursday night at 7 p.m.
