Edwards revives Chiefs from 0-2 start

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) _ This year's Kansas City Chiefs are
fitting right in with their coach.
The Chiefs lost their first two games this season, and since
then have won four out of five.
In Herm Edwards' first season with the team last year, the
Chiefs also lost their first two games. Then they went 9-5 and got
an AFC wild-card playoff birth.
When Edwards coached the New York Jets, they followed a similar
pattern in 2001 and 2002. The Jets lost two of their first three
both years but still made the playoffs.
This year may be Edwards' best coaching job.
The Chiefs lead the AFC West while he gives the team a
top-to-bottom makeover.
Edwards was a star cornerback with the Philadelphia Eagles in
his playing days. He's one of only eight current NFL head coaches
who played in the league.
