Kansas Volleyball Hosts Border Showdown Action Saturday

As Border Showdown rival Missouri visits Lawrence for a 3 p.m. match up Saturday afternoon, Kansas volleyball (10-12, 3-9 Big 12) is hoping to return to its winning ways after dropping its last four matches, three of them road contests.

Missouri (12-9, 5-7 Big 12) will make its first road trip in three matches as they make their way to Lawrence on Saturday. The Tigers have faced a challenging schedule as of late going up against top-15 teams in the last three contests including No. 1 Nebraska, No. 5 Texas and No. 15 Kansas State. MU lost all three contests in three game sweeps.

Missouri leads the all-time series against the Jayhawks 44-32 and have won six of the last seven meetings. With a victory in Columbia earlier in the season, KU will look to notch its first series sweep of Missouri since 1999.
