CHIEFS ADD WR MATT TRANNON TO PRACTICE SQUAD
Kansas City Chiefs President Carl Peterson announced on Wednesday that the club has added WR Matt Trannon to its practice squad.
Trannon (6-6, 216) originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with Arizona in 2007. He attended training camp with the Cardinals, but was released prior to the start of the season. Trannon spent the first five weeks of the 2007 campaign on Arizona’s practice squad.
The Michigan State product appeared in 43 games (35 starts) for the Spartans, establishing a school record 148 receptions for 1,755 yards (11.9 avg.) and nine TDs. He was also a three-year letterwinner on the Spartans basketball team from 2004-06. Trannon prepped at Northern High School in Flint, MI.
