Chiefs Strong in Win Over Bengals

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) _ Kansas City's Tony Gonzalez erased the
NFL record for touchdown catches by a tight end and the Chiefs
rolled up 354 total yards en route to a 27-20 victory over
downward-spiraling Cincinnati.
The eight-time Pro Bowler caught Damon Huard's 3-yard touchdown
pass in the first quarter to break the record set by Shannon
Sharpe. Gonzalez gathered in his 64th TD reception in the fourth
quarter and wound up with 102 yards receiving.
Pro Bowl running back Larry Johnson ran for 119 yards on 31
carries a week after the Chiefs totaled just ten yards on the
ground.
It was the fourth straight loss for the 1-and-4 Bengals, who
have lost seven of eight since being 8-and-5 last year and holding
a one-game lead in the wild-card chase.
The Chiefs improve to 3-and-3.
