After a two-match homestand, the University of Kansas volleyball team will head to Austin, Texas Saturday for a 6:30 p.m. match up against the seventh-ranked Texas Longhorns.
Kansas (10-8, 3-5 Big 12) topped Colorado 3-1 Wednesday night to stop a three-match skid and move up a spot in the conference standings into the seventh spot.
Texas (11-3, 7-1) enters the match ranked seventh in the nation, its seventh straight week in the top-10. The Longhorns completed a 3-0 sweep of Baylor Wednesday as they extended their winning streak to seven matches. Five of the Longhorns' seven victories have come on 3-0 sweeps and their lone win came at the hands of No. 1 Nebraska in both teams' conference opener.
