44th Annual SCCA National Championship Runoffs at Heartland Park

TOPEKA, Kan., (October 11, 2007) The SCCA National Championship Runoffs® presented by AT&T begin turning laps Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. The Runoffs will begin with opening ceremonies at 9:15 a.m. that will feature Shawnee County dignitaries. This is the second time Heartland Park Topeka has hosted the event for SCCA, which will crown 25 different champions throughout the weekend.

Championship races will continue Saturday and Sunday with racing starting at 10 a.m., opening ceremonies will kick off the event at 9:30 a.m. each morning.

Tickets are $15 per day for adults and $5 per day for children 12 and under, and are available through the Heartland Park box office located at entrance gate E on the Heartland Park grounds.

Heartland Park Topeka, a multi-purpose racing facility located in Topeka, Kan. annually hosts NHRA POWERade drag racing, the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), and many other pro and amateur drag racing, road racing, and dirt racing events throughout the race season.
