ESU soccer falls 3-0 on the road at Drury

October 6, 2007 -- The Hornet defense held the Panthers scoreless for 66 minutes of play before Drury scored three goals in the last 24 minutes for the 3-0 victory. For ESU Amanda Miano, Shelley Marsh and Adriane Coburn all had shots on goal, which turned out to be ESU's only shots of the game.

For Drury Kelsey Long scored the first goal in the 67th minute, Melissa Perry added the second goal in the 72nd minute and Rachel Rasbold added the final tally in the 88th minute. The ESU defense held the Panthers to only 12 shots in the game as Megan Martin made five saves.

ESU will return home Truman on Friday, Oct. 12 with kickoff set for 7 p.m. from the TRYSA Complex.
