A Glance At the Jayhawks
After dropping its last two Big 12 matches, the University of Kansas volleyball team will be looking to return to its winning ways this Saturday when it plays host to Texas A&M at 7 p.m. at the Horejsi Family Athletics Center. The Jayhawks are 9-7 overall and 2-4 in Big 12 matches.
Freshman Melissa Manda continues to be a staple in the Jayhawks' lineup averaging a team-best 3.71 digs per game and has established an impressive .982 serve reception percentage with just eight errors in 451 attempts.
Another freshman making a name for herself is Wichita, Kan., native Jenna Kaiser. The 6-0 outside hitter contributes a team-high 2.46 kills per game. Junior Savannah Noyes has been KU's most efficient hitter recording a .252 attack success rate.
