HORNET CROSS COUNTRY TEAMS GETS REGIONAL RANKING

EMPORIA, KAN. (October 3, 2007)--Both the Emporia State men*s and
women*s cross country teams appear in this week*s United States
Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division
II South Central Regional Rankings this week. The Hornet men stayed at
#6 while the ESU women debuted at #9 in the region.
ESU is action at the SIU-Edwardsville Border States Invitational this
weekend. The women begin things with a 5K at 10 a.m. followed by the
men*s 8K at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday. It is the last meet prior to the
MIAA Championships for the Hornets.
