Things Turn Favorable for Chiefs

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) _ The Kansas City Chiefs are looking at a
favorable schedule after beating San Diego 30-16 to even their
record at 2-and-2.
Starting with Jacksonville this Sunday, the Chiefs play four of
their next five games and six of their next eight in Arrowhead
Stadium.
Kansas City has a a home-field advantage that's the best in the
NFL since 1990.
The Chiefs opened with losses at Houston and Chicago, but their
rapidly improving defense held both Minnesota and San Diego
scoreless in the second half of their last two games.
That allowed a slow-starting offense to dig out of double-digit
holes and take the lead for good.
And number one receiver Eddie Kennison may be able to play this
week for the first time since injuring a hamstring on the first
offensive play of the season.
