TRAINING CAMP SENDOFF EVENT SLATED FOR WEDNESDAY
A special Training Camp Sendoff Event is scheduled for Wednesday, August 18th at Missouri Western State University’s Spratt Stadium. The Chiefs will conduct an autograph session before the team takes the field for practice from approximately 7:15-9:15 PM. An exciting selection of prizes will be given away to fans throughout the evening, including tickets to every 2010 Chiefs home game, as well as footballs, mini-helmets and other items autographed by Chiefs players and Coach Haley.
Gates for the event will open at 4:30 PM. Missouri Western State University will charge a $10 admission with free admission for children three and under. Fans can also enjoy performances by the Chiefs Cheerleaders and hear comments from Chiefs Chairman Clark Hunt, Missouri Western State University President Dr. Bob Vartabedian and “Voice of the Chiefs” Mitch Holthus.
The Training Camp Sendoff Event includes the Gatorade Junior Training Camp from 5:15-6:30 PM. Boys and girls ages 8-14 can learned football-related skills in a non-contact environment with the purchase of a Training Camp Sendoff Event ticket.
Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase advance tickets for Wednesday’s Training Camp Sendoff Event at the St. Joseph Hy-Vee location. Fans may also charge by phone by calling the customer service counter at the St. Joseph Hy-Vee at (816) 232-9570. Tickets on day of the event will go on sale beginning at 4:00 PM at ticket sales stations outside Spratt Stadium.
Official Chiefs merchandise and commemorative 2010 Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp items will be available for purchase, in addition to a selection of concession items and refreshments.
The final training camp practice at Missouri Western State University is scheduled for 1:50 PM on Thursday, August 19th.
