Kansas City Rallies Past White Sox

CHICAGO (AP) _ Tony Pena helped the Kansas City Royals turn a
5-1 deficit into a 9-5 win over the Chicago White Sox.
Pena ignited the comeback with one of his four hits, a solo
homer in the fifth. He added a pair of RBI doubles as the Royals
moved into a last-place tie with the White Sox in the AL Central.
Ross Gload added a pair of sacrifice flies, including the
tiebreaking fly ball in the seventh.
Paul Konerko hit a two-run double for the White Sox.
Brandon Duckworth tossed two innings of hitless relief to get to
3-and-5. The loss goes to 0-and-1 Ehren Wasserman.
