What
is the Chamber?
The
Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit, voluntary
organization of citizens working together to support the business
development of Manhattan and make it a better place to work and live.
Since incorporation in 1925, the Chamber and its many volunteers have
invested their time and money to work together and accomplish
objectives that are impossible to do alone.
What
Does the Chamber Do?
The
Chamber unites businesses, professional firms, organizations and
individuals as a central point for community betterment – virtually
every aspect of the Manhattan business community is represented within
the Chamber. As a result, the Chamber is a strong and effective voice
for the business community and is heard and respected by local, state,
and federal leaders in government and business.
