TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) _ The Kansas Legislature has adjourned its wrap-up session.
It's the eighth day of the wrap-up and the 90th day in session this year, the exact number that legislative leaders had scheduled.
The Senate finished at 9:17 p.m. Wednesday, and the House adjourned 57 minutes later, at 10:14 p.m.
A brief adjournment ceremony is scheduled for May 29th. It could include business, though, if the Governor vetoes a coal plant bill sent to her Wednesday and lawmakers want to attempt to override it.
