Komar, the largest sleepwear and intimate apparel manufacturer in the United States, launched PJ's for the Cure, an unprecedented fundraising initiative to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The program aims to heighten awareness surrounding diabetes and to raise $1 million for JDRF by selling uniquely designed, soft cotton pajamas.

The PJ's for the Cure program strives to educate and raise awareness surrounding type 1 diabetes - a serious condition that affects 24 million Americans. While the disease comes on suddenly for children and adults, it lasts a lifetime - and a new case of diabetes in the US is diagnosed every 30 seconds.

The pajamas cost $25 for kids, $40 for women. One-hundred percent of every sale is donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

You can find additional information about Type 1 Diabetes by visiting www.jdrf.org.
