(CBS/AP) It appears that a wrap party turned into a rap party.

Just hours after shooting was completed on Oliver Stone's latest film, a biopic of President George W. Bush, actors Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright, along with crew members, were arrested during a bar fight Saturday morning, police said.

Shreveport police Sgt. Willie Lewis said Brolin, Wright and five others were arrested just after 2 a.m. at a club called the Stray Cat bar.

CBS affiliate KSLA correspondent Ben Wolf reported that, according to police, one crew member was "acting out," and that club workers twice asked the group to leave, before calling police.

Police said Brolin, Lewis and four other crew members interfered with their making an arrest.

Witness Anthony Thompson told KSLA that he saw four squad cars and several bike cops, including a canine unit, converge on the scene.

Police could not say Saturday night whether Brolin or the others had been released.

KSLA reported that the arrests come the very day that Vanity fair magazine had arrived to do a cover story on the controversial film, "W," which tells the story of the early years of George W. Bush up through his invasion of Iraq.

"W" began filming in May in Shreveport. Brolin, who plays President Bush, starred in last year's Oscar-winning "No Country for Old Men," "American Gangster," "In the Valley of Elah" and "Grindhouse."

Wright, who plays former Secretary of State Colin Powell, appeared in the James Bond films "Casino Royale" and the upcoming "Quantum of Solace," as well as "Syriana" and "Ali." He won Tony and Golden Globe Awards for the stage and TV versions of "Angels in America."

The cast also includes Elizabeth Banks as first lady Laura Bush, Ellen Burstyn and James Cromwell as the elder Bushes, and Thandie Newton as Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

Stone has said the film won't be an anti-Bush polemic but, as he told Daily Variety, "a fair, true portrait of the man. How did Bush go from being an alcoholic bum to the most powerful figure in the world?"

A call to Brolin's publicist was not immediately returned Saturday night.

"W" is Stone's third presidential film, following "Nixon" and "JFK." He also directed the Vietnam sagas "Born on the Fourth of July" and "Platoon," which won four Oscars including best picture and director.

The Academy Award-winning director only began shopping his script for financing in January, but has quickly captured the interest of investors and Hollywood. He has said he is hoping to complete editing in time to release the film prior to the November election.
