Suspect Arrested in Topeka's 5th Homicide Save Email Print

Topeka detectives announce they have made an arrest in connection to the shooting death of Pamela McMasters.

27-year-old Sterling R. Hall III of Topeka was arrested at 5928 SW17th Street in a private parking lot without incident at 12:24AM Saturday.

Hall has been booked into the Department of Corrections on suspicion of 1st degree murder.

50-year-old Pamela McMasters of Topeka was shot and killed Thursday night outside of the Regency Inn Motel on Topeka Blvd.

Detectives continue to track down any other leads and have conducted over 20 interviews alone in the case. They report numerous citizens have come forth with important information that has assisted this investigation.
