(CNN) -- Lil' Wayne is scheduled to be a free man in 27 days, but don't count on anymore written letters coming from the rap superstar.

Yesterday, a message popped up on Lil' Wayne's Twitter account asking fans to stop sending him mail due to his solitary confinement, a request that was repeated on Wayne's website, WeezyThanxYou.com.

In the final message to his fans, titled "Letter #08: My Last Written Lines," Wayne announced that being moved to an isolated cell will keep him from penning and receiving letters. As we reported earlier, Lil' Wayne spends 23 out of 24 hours inside the cell, with an hour of guard-supervised recreation.

Over the course of seven insightful, intimate and often hilarious letters, Lil' Wayne spoke to his fans, sometimes individually by name, on everything from the memory of Aaliyah and the Miami Heat's big free agency moves to his skills playing UNO.

"I don't think people truly understand how much their thoughts and well wishes have helped me through this time in my life," Lil' Wayne wrote. "I'm going to miss reading about your lives. I'm going to miss looking at the pictures. They were the highlight of my days aside from speaking with my kids."

Lil' Wayne's newest album, "I Am Not a Human Being," debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. "I Am Not a Human Being" was released digitally moving 110,000 units. The CD version is due out on October 12.

In typical Lil' Wayne fashion, he used his parting words to thank the fans.

"Trust me when I say this is almost over," he wrote. "I love you. I'll continue to pray for all of you. Just keep doing the same for me."
