Washburn climbed in the polls for the third straight week with a jump from 12th to 11th in this week's AVCA national poll.

The Ichabods moved to 20-4 last week and 7-1 in the MIAA as they defeated Southwest Baptist 3-0 on Friday and then had a 13-match winning streak snapped with a 3-0 loss to fourth-ranked Central Missouri on Saturday.

This is Washburn's 129th straight ranking, a streak that dates back to the start of the 2004 season.

Central Missouri also moved up a spot to third and Nebraska-Kearney fell from eighth to ninth after a loss last weekend as the only other MIAA teams ranked. Concordia St. Paul remained first in the nation and in total, seven Central Region teams make up the top 17 teams in the nation.

Washburn will play twice on the road this week with a match Friday at Northwest Missouri at 7 p.m. and a match Saturday at Missouri Western also at 7.
